As Cousins growing up, I remember all the great times our families shared together especially in the summer months. Burt and I shared a love for the ocean. I remember him attempting to surf. (Not sure if he ever did master that). I do know he loved the beach! I recall many times seeing him and Marg hanging out at my favorite stomping ground, Gilgo beach. I was always so envious that he had all summer off and told him so! After moving to Florida I think we did our best to try and stay in touch. Thank goodness for FB! I love you and will miss you cuz! Peace and Love. Your cousin Annette

Hello all ~ My husband, Bob and I are students of the bible. We have learned that the bible is deity. This is the book of John, Chapter 1, verses 1&2. We are taught in the original languages of the text. The Greek is very precise. I truly think that Burt, being a teacher, would appreciate this message.
We want you to know that Jesus Christ came through the virgin birth, went to the cross and died for your sins. Ephesians 2: 8&9 says 'It is by grace you have been saved through faith; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one should boast.' The Roman soldier asked the apostle Paul and company, 'Sirs, What must I do to be saved?' And they answered, 'Believe on the Lord and you will be saved.' So, right where you sit you can pray in the privacy of your own soul, 'Father, I am believing in your Son and you will be saved.'
God promised something to Adam and Eve. A Savior. And at the right time He sent a Savior. God made all the provision. Jesus Christ did the work on the cross. The merit was in Him. Bob and I didn't do anything to earn salvation. It is a free gift of God. This is the spiritual reality. It's real.
The Lord wants us to be informed about Christians who have died physically (the tent, the body) so that we do not grieve excessively without hope. This is Thessalonians 4: 13-18. Please know that the time and the manner of the Christian's physical death is determined by the Lord. He doesn't make mistakes. The modern day life span is three score and ten (70 years of age) plus a little more if you're strong. At the appointed time, the Lord Himself will come down from heaven with a shout of command. Christians who have died and those left around will be resurrected. Hope is elpis in the Greek which means confident expectation of these objective facts. We will be with the Lord together forever.
The soul doesn't sleep. The soul and human spirit (the real person) receives an angelic escort into the presence of the Savior, stepped out of time in perfect contentment. God loves us. I love you Marg, Jason, Diane and Mel. I wanted you to be informed because not everyone is informed that the bible is God's thinking. He tells us to adopt His thinking for our benefit, our protection and ultimately our capacity for life. I hope you find comfort in these words today.
In Christ, your cousin Stephanie

One memory of Mr. Koza was that he wore saddle shoes when I was in 8th grade. It was 1973-74 so they were stylish. My mom bought me a pair when I started 9th grade the following year. I was trying to imitate a man I thought was cool and classy. He was also a great teacher. He was devoted to everything he was involved in. Mrs. Koza and Jason just know that he was so loved by so many and will be remembered always. Thanks for sharing him with all of us. Prayers and total LOVE for you both.

Hi Marg ~ We are so sorry, darling Marg. Your soul speaks in color, Jason. Diane, you are in my dreams. Mel, you are dearly loved. Burt and I, Steph, are cousins. Our Dads are brothers. A story. For you. Burt, Marg, Bob and I watched our wedding video together many years ago. Our videographer asked us to say something to our guests. For me, what came to mind was, 'Of all the souls I've encountered in my travels, yours have been the most human.' Burt sprung from the sofa, gently embraced my face and kissed me on the lips. I love Burt Koza. Bob and I mourn with you and our family. Love and hugs. And love and hugs some more. Stephanie
