Claudette Asaro-Weter, 83, of Coconut Creek, FL and formerly Farmingdale, NY died peacefully at home on August 19th after a long illness.
She is predeceased by her loving first husband, Tony and parents Martha and Emmanuel (Nino). She is survived by her loving husband Jim, children Linda (Paul) and Karen (Bill), sister Carol (Pete), grandchildren Brandon (Corrine), Kyle, Evan, Alec (Tara), Jake and Garrett, great-grandchild Blake, nieces and nephews Steve (Tammy) and Barbara (Nick), step-children Jim (Stephanie) and Bob (Michelle) and step-grandsons Grant and Blake.
Claudette spent many years in the life insurance industry, but her first love and priority was her family, especially her grandsons. She enjoyed golf, cooking, baking Christmas cookies, volunteering in church activities and attending many of her grandson’s soccer, ice hockey, baseball, lacrosse, track and basketball games. She will be deeply missed.
A funeral mass at St. Martin of Tours in Amityville and burial in Pinelawn Memorial will be private. Memorial donations to support the caring hospice network can be sent to Trustbridgefoundation.org.
