Obituary of Vanessa E King

Vanessa E. King nee Meak of Lindenhurst, New York  passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022 at home.

                Vanessa was born on October 12, 1959, to John R. and Margaret M. Meak, and was a graduate of Georgetown University with a BA in Business and French, she also worked hard on getting her MBA at Hofstra University

                She is survived by her brother John J. Meak (Margie), sisters Peggy A. Meak and Susan M Hofman (Christopher), and her dearest sister friend Karyn Van Name. Devoted aunt to Ashley, Kelly, Courtney, Ryan, Colin, and Rachel. Cherished great aunt to Lilly, Jack, Derek, Cameron, Declan, Logan, Riley, Sydney, Nora, and Ava. She was a loving cat mom to Rocky and the late Elvis, Mina, and Gizmo.

                She also loved the beach, traveling, sports, and Classic Rock Music. She was loved by so many, and she will be missed.

                 In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition, envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
