James G. Hyland of Amityville, LI suddenly on May 23, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Barbara W. Loving father of Megan Hyland (Colin Quinn) and Chloe Hyland. Cherished grandfather of Wells and James Quinn. Devoted son of Patricia and the late James Hyland. Dear brother of Jacqueline Spiro (Daniel), Patricia Norum and the late Neil Hyland. Fond uncle of Joseph Hyland, Molly Spiro, Kate Spiro, Matthew Norum and Kieran Norum. The family will receive friends Friday, May 26, 2023 from 2-5:00 pm and 7-10:00 pm at the funeral home. Wake Prayers will conducted at 8:00 pm by Deacon Larry McPartland. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, May 27, 2023, 12:00 noon by Father Gerard Gordon in St. Martin of Tours RC Church, Amityville. Interment will follow in Grace Church Cemetery, Massapequa.
