I knew Virginia for many years. She was a neighbor and close friend of my mother, Angie Ferguson, who lived in the same condo complex. Virginia did not drive so my mother drove the two of them around usually to the IGA and the CVS pharmacy as well as other places. My mother was 6 years older and hard of hearing, so Virginia looked out for the two of them when they were on the road.
I live in Manhattan and took the train to Copiague about once a month on average to visit mom. If I did not visit with Virginia directly I would talk to her on the phone and catch up; she and I became good friends. Last March my mother left Copiague and moved to Florida to live with my sister. I learned of Virginia's death the Sunday after Thanksgiving and I am finding it very difficult to accept. I will miss her greatly. Jim Ferguson

Fond memories of Virginia at all the family events with Tom Urraro's family. We would always chat at the salon as we both got our hair done. A great lady who always took the time to ask about my family and always had something nice to say to me every time I saw her. Will remember her with a big smile on my face.
Sincere condolences to her family. Many people hold her memory in their minds and hearts.
Jane

Virginia was the kindest, best neighbor anyone could ask for. She was friendly, generous, and always tried to beautify the area. She will be missed. I'm sure she is with Ben, free of any pain and at peace.
